It's a Damn Shame

I wish I had more people to photograph, because I love what I do. I love being behind a camera & seeing all the potential in somebody's face that the rest of the world could never see. I love seeing that person become something even more beautiful & intriguing, but it's something that I could never hope to share because nobody else could possibly understand it.

Maybe it's because I like to see the good in people, & when they're in front of a camera there are no mistakes, no lies, just a face. A smile that lights up the computer screen with every upload. I wish everybody could see what I see, & then maybe everyone would become better people because they'd have more hope for themselves & everyone around them instead of judging each other. Everybody has the potential to be beautiful & good... but not everybody cares to be that way & it's a damn shame.
