High Heels & Donuts :)

You know you have an incredible relationship when your fiancée brings you home comfort food, just because he can. I've always loved that about Shaun. For as long as we've been together, he's always brought me home chocolate, or scones, or something delicious to satisfy my sweet tooth. I never even have to ask. He'll just come home, candy in hand with a big smile on his face. He makes my day every time.

Today his Aunt contacted him, telling him that he might be able to get his old job at Harmons back if he hurried in & talked to the manager. As much as I didn't want to be stuck at home with my little sister, I know that if he got the job we'd be a lot better off than we are now. Not to mention we'd be able to start saving for a place a lot sooner. He promised to bring me back donuts to make up for my having to stay at home, which as silly as it might sound, is all I've been looking forward to for the past couple hours. That, & spending time with my baby.

Now I'm going to make the most of the time I have to myself. I'm going to take a nice hot shower & get all primped up so that I look all nice for Shaun when he gets home. I don't really get dressed up very often & I think it would be nice to actually make an effort for him. Especially since he looks sexy for me all the time ;) But it's nice to acknowledge that I actually have someone to primp for. Not every girl has that. Especially someone who actually cares.

So I'd just like to thank my baby for not only noticing when I make an effort, but appreciating it. That means a lot to me, & I'm so damn lucky to have you. I love you Shaun Bills. You're my best friend :)
